    Just FYI: As of last weekend, 144 south of Renovo is a gravel road, in preparation for repaving. 144 north of Renovo is still good. Watch for deer early in the morning and later in the evening.

    Did you mean gravel or top seal?

    This is what's so awesome about Pennsylvania roads! They keep repaving roads that don't even need to be repaved in the first place! PA-144 between Renovo and I-80 was only repaved a few years ago and it was still in very good condition when I was there last fall.

    Now if we could only get New York state to do the same!
