I did the Cabot Trail in June on my 07 ZX-10R...... riders ....take note. I was sorry I didn't get the chance to do it both ways the same day. The CT is breathtaking and if you know it well enough to ride you can scare the chit outta yourself. I lived on the Cabot Trail for 8 years in the 80's but wasnt a rider then although I did go round several times and thought of it as an awesome ride for any vehicle.

ride it one way , rest , turn around and ride it the other.

You didn't mentioned someone violated the street racing law many times during this trip, but then that's not in Ontario

That was a blast. I think I have enough rides for this month.

    - 1.5 rainy days
    - roughly 350 pictures from me alone
    - 1 hail storm with buildup on the ground looking like snow

3 riders + 3 bikes started out, 3 riders + 3 bikes made it back.

oh and my R6 just passed 50,000kms

all good (even the dodgy scary motel)

pssst, there is a similar law in NS for going 50km/h, it was passed a few months ago.

New Brunswick is a better place to test the top speed. Most of the cars are going faster than us in NS anyway.

I agree, between Quebec City and Moncton, i was pushing average speed of 220-250 , i just wanted to get there, and only had one close call with cops. Speed trap hiding between the trees, seen him for like 1.5 seconds hehe and that was it, i don't think he wanted to bother.

But one thing i noticed about the east coast, is you don't have left lane huggers, i didnt have a problem at all until on the way back i got to the 401, and seen a **** load of cars on the left and middle lane, that is how i knew i was back home.
