That takes balls and tons of skill. No comfortable run-offs. If you **** up you really will feel it.

The camera doesn't do this circuit justice. Read the track notes. There is a right corner that if you do it right it washes you out to the far left. You know you are on the line if your left elbow rubs the bushes at the side of the track... which puts your wheels within a couple of inches of the concrete curb AT ALMOST 200 MPH.

    RIP Robby Dunlop.

There's a reason why no big name racers will race on public roads, it's completely off the risk/reward scale.

Mesmerizing to watch, but crazy dangerous.

Theres still lots of big name racers riding on Road Racing tracks you just dont know their names but in Great Britain they are gods ...also its hard to explain but its not much of a leap from riding the country and A roads in England or Ireland to racing on the street curcuits ....at least the roads are closed

Actually a bad example of how dangerous TTs are. Robby Dunlop's death could have occured anywhere, on any track.
Hailwood used to have it written into his contract that he could run the IOM. It isn't the riders, it is the team... and their insurance.
