I just picked up at 2007 GSXR750... I tried to put my rear seat on the bike but it will not clip down for some reason... It's the right seat and I think the bolts from the sissy strap might be hitting the steel but I am not sure..
Did anyone have problems with this.. Maybe I will take some pictures tomorrow when I can.. but I wanted to see if anyone else had these problems...

Ooops. I didn't see you were asking about the rear seat and not the front - I have never tried to mount the rear seat. Sorry, Neb
the helmet hooks tend to move a bit. may they shifted and they're something in the undertail.
I have a feeling the dealer gave me the wrong seat...
So now I will probably need to find out what this belongs to.. sell it and find someone who is selling a GSXR seat locally if not then ebay.. and a manual for the bike (both shop manual and users manual)

That seat is for the GSXR 1000, the 750 has metal hooks.
The rear seat on Gixxer 600/750 only has one rear prong, the one shown in the picture has two; there's no chance its going to fit. Go back to the dealer, they'll give you the correct one.

Yeah I knew it was for the Gixxer 1000.. Cause my solo seat on have 1 single prong like it was already said.. Like the seat fits on the bike and everything.. It' just doesnt click into place...
Problem is.. When I bought the car from the dealer.. it wasn't stated in the contact that I was getting a seat.. It was after the fact after I paid that I asked for the seat.. But I talked to the dealer today I gotta call back tomorrow and talk to the manager about it.. Hopefully the guy who traded it in gave them the seat..
If not then I will just see about buying yours Petie and then I can just turn around and sell the Gixxer seat on ebay.. I am sure it will not be hard to sell it for a good decent price.. Even if I sell it for the price I pick yours up for.. I don't care if I get the seat from the dealer or you. Don't make a difference in the end. Just easier if I get it from the dealer.. I will keep you informed...

Anyone got a manual for this bike?
Was the bike brand new or used? If it's brand new then it should come with both the solo rear seat cowl AND a passenger seat. If it's used then you just get whatever's on the bike. I can confirm that Suzuki of Newmarket gives both for new bikes.
