Saturday Ride - West GTA (Milton) to Forks of the Credit

Hey,

I was planning on taking a ride on Saturday (as mentioned in a post below). I was thinking of meeting at the ESSO Station on JSP and Main in Milton at 1:15 - 1:30 on Saturday and taking a short ride to the forks of the credit.

If anybody is interested please post here that you can meet at that time. If there is other interest from other areas we could arrange a secondary meet point in Bramton (Shoppers World Parking Lot by Crappy Tire) perhaps.

Not planning anything blazingly fast so any new riders that are intersted please feel free to join. Also, I ride a sport bike (zx-14) but welcome any other riders on any types of bikes (except for Busas - kidding LOL).

I don't think we will be taking the hwy to Forks of the Credit but maybe Greg should advise if we will be taking the hwy or back streets to get there

Don't worry..I won't be going to fast..I'm a newbie so I will probably be doing the same pace as riding a 250cc....I don't mind leaving say noon but I wouldn't be able to leave any earlier

We don't need to take the highway. We can decide on the route. As for driving fast...I am slow guy so nothing to worry about.

Everybody is welcome - this is only for fun. If we ever want to go fast we can do a track day.

Traffic should not be too bad on Saturday - I expect a lot of bike mainly.

I might be able to make this one, I've been riding for 3-4 years now; but very little in groups of more than 2-3 people so I am good with a slower intro to get my bearings in a larger size group.. Then again it's sounding like it might just be us

I'll talk to the wife and let you know in the morningish (I'm out this evening, but I will be back at a PC to let you know by 11am Saturday).

See you at James Snow and Main. Hopefully everybody can find this the ESSO station. It is a new station right on the intersection on the East side.

Any suggestions on the best route to the forks? Otherwise I was planning on heading up highway 1o to the Forks of the credit road.

Open on any other suggestions.
