Fantastic pics!
You have inspired me to go back to Hawaii, but this time tour on two wheels instead of four!!
I am going to be in Italy in June and I am planning on renting a bike to tour from Florence to Venice to Rome. Any advice would be greatly appreciated since you obviously are a pro at this!
And, on a side note, what do you do? If there is an opening in whatever you, please do let me know. I only get four weeks of vacation so I'm looking for a job that will get me the kind of time off you get!!

Is this you?
We've only done northern Italy on our last trip, as that's where most of the mountain roads are (Alps, Dolomites). You can see some great routes here:I am going to be in Italy in June and I am planning on renting a bike to tour from Florence to Venice to Rome. I've heard traffic in the larger Italian cities (like Rome) is crazy! Make sure to give yourselves lots of time to deal with the traffic...

I got BuStEd!!!!
ahahahaha...stupid mistake. I had one too many beers last night and I meant to put four wheels, not one. And that's why you should never drink and type kids....
Oh, I also remembered, we visited Venice about 5 years ago and most of that city is accessible by foot only, ie the Piazzas. And by gondola, of course...
So you might not get a lot of ride time there.
Holy crap that blog was wicked!
I figured as much since Venice is in the water
I am still deciding if I will visit Venice. If I was with a woman, it might be worth it for the romantic bonus points, but I will be by myself so if I do go, it will be for just one day max -- just to say been there, done that !
Wow, terrific pic's Jean !!
Your making us all jealous !!
