    State Farm - Erin Boyle

    Hey Guys,

Just thought I'd post a good source for Bike insurance.
I dealt with this girl, her name is Erin Boyle from State Farm.
She was a great girl to talk to, very imformative and not presuring whatsoever.
She is pretty down to earth and doesn't feed you the bullcrap like a lot of agents do.
Also, this is one of few State Farms that will insure Motorcycles on a stand alone basis.

    -I've got my M2,
    -I'm 26 Years old,
    -2000 honda CBR 600 F4,
I've been quoted, and am now paying just a few pennies above $100/month
I thought that was pretty good considering the other places I shopped. Which a few were other State Farm Agents that will NOT insure a stand alone bike.
Anyways....If you decide to call her, mention that
'Brian'(off of gtamotorcycle.com) referred you and I might get some Timmy's coupons :P

Just thought I'd put it out there, she was great to deal with...

    Her Info....

    Dude,

sounds like a good deal, but you should switch all of your insurance to them if you have it.. When I was 26 (3yrs ago)lol.. I was paying $60/month for my 02 gsxr with state farm.. Mind you, I have life insurance and a car with them as well. If you have all of that, switch it to state farm.. you wont regret it..

I was more impressed with the rate and the fact that they will do a stand alone bike.
A buddy of mine, he's got his truck, two snowmobiles, his cottage and his '02 CBR F4i all insured with her as of this week...all for just over $200 a month...and he's 25.
So i mean...the numbers are there.
I just renewed with my company that covers my car and truck and house. She coudln't beat the price, thats because I get a huge discount through my girlfriends work (purolator). But when it comes around again next year, i'll be checkin in again...
Erin is a great girl to deal with....she'll go the extra length to provide a great service to you.

I guess 900/month is way too high for a car and 2 bikes.

Are there any age or license restrictions? I just turned 21 and have my full G and M2 license, no tickets. The bike is 750 CC. Do you think she'll insure me?

She'll insure you...i only have my M2 as well...State farm is all based on CC's of the bike and how many years you've had your G....not necessairly your M
Give her a call, she's a cool girl.

Called their office, spoke with Kevin.
M1 (taking course in 2 weeks), G since June '01, clean record, turning 25 in 4 weeks, they'll start my policy in 2 weeks and give me the 25 y/o rate.
    '98 ZX-6R, liability only:
    71.26/month

    That's less than lunch money!

Re: State Farm - Erin Boyle

    ok Kevin called me back
i am 26 with 1 minor ticket, so he did not bother with a car quote as he said there was no way to match TD.
For the same coverage on my monster as ridersplus it was more
    $152/month, thats a lot more.

for my 916, he got it down to $122/month for liability only, which is a couple bucks cheaper than other statefarm offices

EDIT - jony duffy - $150/month liability only eeeek

I have to give +1 to Erin Boyle from SF as well.

    25
    G/M2
    Clean Record
    '02 Gixxer 600
    Bike only insurance
    Full coverage - $1000 deduct.
    Quoted $81/month

It obviously gets better if I were to move my car over too.
