I always found it very insightful to see other peoples insurance quotes just to get a reference of how much I would be paying.
I finally purchased my first motorcycle, a 2008 Kawasaki Ninja 250.
The quote is through State Farm whom my car is also with.
Here's my info.
- Single male, 23 years old (24yrs in April 200
- M2 with safety cert
- G licence (driving for about 9 years)
- ABSOLUTELY clean record
- never involved in any accident or mystery fender bender
Quote:
- Full Coverage ($1000 ded) is $72/month
Man, I'm so pumped to ride.
how can you be 23 and been driving for 9 years? did you get your licence when you were 14?
that's a sweet deal, when i got insured last year i had the exact same stats (age/driving rec) as you except the bike was 600cc (1987 radian, not a sportbike) and i'm with kingsway, came to just over $2k...state farm quoted me close to $3k...cc's matter!
I have a 93 EX250, I'm 25, M1, had an auto accident last year...
$550 a year liability only.
I only have my m1, but when I called I told them Ill be registering the bike once I have done my course and hopefully have my m2.
Been driving about 8-9 years, no claimed accidents, one ticket. 26 y/o.
2001 Yamaha yzf600r.
50/month liability only, or 70 full coverage, thats with statefarm.
I pay $350 /yr liability only for my 2002 DRZ 450 SM.
32 yrs old, 3 tickets, 1 claim (no $) GM2
Nites
22/male, 2 major convictions, 2 minors, 2002 SV650, M2 + cert, $1400/year
2002 Suzuki SV650s
who are you with barky? is that full coverage or just liability?
i forgot to add that my 2k from kingsway is full coverage...
I woul dbe riding an 05 gixxer 1000 if insurance i was quoted wasnt 2300 a year vrs the 700 a year i pay for the vfr. I'm 53 ( ya i know im old ... but wise lol) Had my license before the wheel was invented but still when it comes to big bore sport bikes i apparently dont qualify for a seniors discount
2002 Suzuki SV650s
I wonder how much insurance will drop after I turn the magical 25 yrs...
