Up there for that event - probably nothing.
To close a road, Joe Public gets charged by the 'City'.
Last time I had to get a road closed was for a crane to haul my car out from falling 40' over the mountain. (no I wasn't driving it, or in it)
The charges are in increments of 15 minutes - and they're not cheap.
I don't know if insurance covers that **** - my story goes back to when we drove around with 'unsatisfied judgement', or sometimes referred to as, "buck luck".

Back to the topic - bring on a show. They can do it really good on a dragstrip in Thompson Ohio - why not Cayuga - saves me a 5 hr drive!

Picture fastest wheelies - starting behind the Xmas tree - front wheel must be in the air by then. Timed at the 1/4 mile. If the front tire lands prior to the end - DQ'd.

Picture stunters starting beyond the finish line, by the sand pit. By the time they get to the finish line, they're doing about 120mph and when they hit the finish line, the stoppie begins, and they ride it out towards the starting line.....

possibilties are endless - clean ups are usually faster than car wrecks, and everyone goes home smiling.

    I say 'monthly' - but I don't own a dragstrip. (yet)

No no no - by the time the rider gets to the Xmas tree / starting line - he's already doing about 80 miles an hour with the front tire off the ground, mandatory - that's the start - rider then heads down the dragstrip doing a wheelie - by the end - they are usually 110 - 130 MPH. Many don't make it to the end without dropping the front down - that get's them disqualified. Fun to watch over 100 riders do this ****.
Fast wheelie = top speed - not time btw.

Insurance is higher for "stunt" riding on the grounds... SPoNsors usually pick up the big bills of you got them.... but it is a stupid amount for a normal group of guys just trying to get a legit place!
Pm me if you need something painted!!!

Yeah im curious to this as well....

there is no reason why it cant be... from what ive seen in the lots there is more than enough talent to take a podium at a US event.

I wont deny the talent these boys have.. ill be the first one to speak highly of them........trust me...

but the games steppin up by the day in the US and not getting to practise and work on new tricks every single day holds the canadian stunting back a lot....with progression of skills

Correct me if I am wrong but did Teach not just win Stuntwars??? Dude is a freaking teacher so he rides on weekends and a few weeknights????

I think there is a selected few I have seen in person that could hold their own and continue to compete at that level... they could, if they pushed themselves to infact probably pass several US riders...

    Its just my .02...
