Logic anyone? I'm sorry, but I'm tired of explaining how two wrongs don't make a right and similar basic thinking operations.

OK so then I will explain. If the forum was indeed the voice of the LE enforcement community, then you as a non LE enforcement community member couldn't have joined and posted.

This to back up my claim that you don't even know if the person you were criticizing was in fact a police officer.

    Hope this helps.

I'm a cop and have donut breath to prove it. I feel like rambling....I've been driving/riding 3 decades. The first decade was a little iffy..piss+vinigar..lot's of one on one LEO face time. Last 2 decades I'm averaging 2 pullovers (speeding) per decade. I keep my mouth shut. Yessir,Nossir nothing extra unless I'm asked. Every ticket I deserved and was knocked to the bare minimum. One Leo even came close to apologizing. In the early days I noticed when I started to protest and question and argue the LEOs' brow would furrow and his face harden. My opinion and perspective was not appreciated or wanted. Is that right? No, but it's a reality. My contact with LEO is infrequent and when it happens it's a special occasion. The LEOs' contact with the likes of me is multiple times daily. He's heard it all before. I'm not defending the police, I'm just saying it is what it is. I also believe Vlad made some excellent points, both here and on Blueline. YMMV

He wasn't banned until after accusing another member of being a borderline fascist. Does GTAM regularly let that sort of stuff slide? If it does, what do people get banned for?

    Your words:

LOL! You weren't giving your opinion you were lecturing them on how they should act as officers and human beings. Not once did the words "I disagree with your opinion" or anything of the sort come from you.

You got banned so you ran back here to whine and get some sympathy.

Pssst, I don't believe that some drug mule from a foreign country should have the same rights and freedoms as a Canadian citizen does either. Does this make me a fascist also? lol
BINGOOOOOOOOOO.... Exactly as I put it... quite your whinning... you are doning on here, exactly as they are doing.. sooo STFU...

I'm afraid my previously high regard of LEO is definitely down the drain after this "discussion":

Re: Banned rom Blue Line Forums

    pretty understandable dispuit IMO

can't say I disagree with the context of the Cop's statement about the charter when it comes down to the scenario in that drug-smuggler thread....maybe he could have chosen his words a bit better....but WTF he's human......

but yeah with the current climate as a automotive enthusiast......with all this Bill 203 crap and the apparent encroachment on everyone's civil rights being questioned....seeing a comment from a cop like that about the charter.....it's more than enough to get your back up

this is the slippery slope......and our lawmakers did not consider this when they pushed 203 through....car seizure and all

cops are human...they make mistakes like the rest of us....and making a generalized comment like that about the charter, that can so easily be taken out of context is a mistake

but I don't think it's the cops' responsibility to de-humanize themselves.....I think it's the repsonsibilty of our lawmakers to reconginize who they are empowering...and where to draw the line......and I think they need to reconsider where they've chosen to draw that line

as for the banning......I was surprised you got to 4 posts...lol

I have decided to stop following and responding to messages in this thread for personal reasons. My thanks to everyone who provided constructive input, including critics of my actions. Rest assured it's all been heard loud and clear. I now consider this matter closed.

Re: Banned rom Blue Line Forums

On a good note, we're fortunate to be living in a country where you can publically criticize cops and where most cops wouldn't dare make such statements in the line of duty. It's a far cry from the practices of the Ministry of Internal Affairs during the Milošević era, where you had 3 choices when dealing with'em: big baton, small baton and a wet newspaper (choose the big one as the small one elongates into an even bigger monstrosity, with a lead-filled tip and the wet newspaper is the worst of them all).
You came on a bit too strong and I'm not surprised that they saw you as a troll even if you didn't intend to be one. As someone already mentioned, a law enforcement site gets a whole bunch of trolls on a regular basis, so I'm not surprised they were a bit touchy about it.
I agree that everyone here should be treated equally by the law, but I'm also a big believer in free speech. Even a cop should be allowed to say whatever he wants (even if it's Heil Hitler), as long as it's not in the line of duty. When he's on duty, he's supposed to be a thorough professional -- a front-line representative of our legal system. Once he punches out, he should be allowed to kick his boots off and relax.

I don't believe that for one moment. What someone says behind closed doors or over the computer gives you a good indication of what they think and believe. If a cop is saying Heil Hitler behind closed doors I would hate to be black or jewish and get pulled over. Do you think people just turn their predjudeces on and off? Kicking off boots and relaxing is far different then the rubish that is posted on Blueline. But I do agree with most that many of those losers aren't cops. Most cops are far more professional its just the loud mouths and biggots that get more noticed.

Ya, no guff. You can tell the character of a person by his behaviour when nobody is watching. Something along those lines anyway....come back Vlad...all is forgiven.

We have to come on here to whine about being banned from other forums now??

Different forums have different rules...respect those rules and you'd probably have nothing to complain about.
