85 yr old man charged with street racing - & driven to the bank.

Perhaps I didn't fully comprehend what I read here, but I am under the impression that the cop saw an old man speeding, then pulled up beside him to caution him to slow down (free warning), and then eventually turned on the cherries to bust his @ss, cause the old man simply wasn't paying attention.

In the end, the old man got charged, but had he slowed down after the initial warning, I assume everything would have been OK!

And the cop then seizes the car, but offers to drive the man to his destination!

I have mixed feelings on this one, on one hand you don't want a crazy old man tearing up the streets. On the other hand, you go man, hope I can drive like that when I am that age...( just for you jokers out there I still have a good few years left in me)

Everytime I've heard about this case from Cam Wooley it gets more fantastical than the last. He really should write gossip columns the way he can 'elaborate' on many actual events into a nice TV ready gossip piece.
