I remember going to a card at the Maple Leaf Gardens back in the eary 80's, and getting to meet Superfly. Let me tell you: That guy was SOLID muscle. I put my arm around his shoulder for a photo op, and it was like placing my hand on a bowling ball. There wasn't an ounce of fat on the guy. Later on, at ringside, Piper got his head split wide open by Leo "The Lion" Burke, and bled all over my arms and t-shirt. It was GREAT!!! LOL!!!!! I came walking out to meet my mom after, and she's like "WTF happened to you????!!!!".

since we are speaking about this bike, at the motorcycle show, i spoke with the sales man about this buell, and he told me that it does on 4krpm what my gixxer 750 does on 7krpm.. true? i HIGHLY DOUBT
but im still asking, cuz i mean a little freak like that, can smoke a gix750?? nah a chance!

The buell makes more hp and (significantly) more torque. My numbers may be off a bit here, but the buell claims 82 ft-lbs of torque at 8k rpm, and 146 hp at 9800 rpm, whereas the gix750 made (in 2006, according to wikipedia) 129 hp @13250 rpm and 56 ft-lb at 10,750.

thats an extra 17hp and 26 ft-lbs (thats almost 50% more torque).

Plus the Buell's a twin vs the GSX-R's in-line four - it has a flatter torque curve so most of the power comes on early.
