Starting prob.

I gotta change oil and fog the motor in my 944 duc.It won't start.Engine tries to turn over but can't make a full revolution.Battery is good (i put the one from my other duc in it,still no go) Solenoid is good (did the same swap,same result) Starter is good (had it checked at a reputable rebuild shop) I've got 12.8v at the battery and 12.4 at the starter when i hit the starter button with the cable disconnected. Grrrrrrrrrr

Hah,fixed it.The 30amp main fuse had a lot of corrosion on the blades and in the fuse block contacts.a few too many trackdays in the rain i guess.

Hah,i haven't had enuf muffin yet.Thanks for the c12 offer,but the muffin is put away till spring now,and that stuff has to be used before spring.It degrades over time i am told.Let me know when you are in town.Drop by and say hi.
