TIP over sensor most likely, located in the top front of the headlight...Best thing to rule it out is to bypass it, take the 2 outside wires and short them togheter leave the one in the middle alone...

Friend of mines F4I went down hard the other day & now it won't start.
I am not versed in F4I's or the intimate workings. I have no manual to cheat from so I was hoping that you boys that have had problems with yours could shed some light on the subject.
I assume with the amount of stunters using them that you have had some similar issues in the past.
Hell ,I don't even know if ther is a tip over switch in the thing....
It's a 2005 if that makes a difference.
There is no visible damage to the motor & the cage did a fine job...not a mark or impact to the motor or casings.......can't say as much for plastic etc....
Assuming the fuel & spark are there and everything else "seems" OK then what?????
Someone out there has to have been haunted by this issue with theirs....

Thanx.................
That would explain things alot..... , being as the whole front is removed from the bike..
I thought the connector to the front was extensive for lighting.....
I told him to get a manual for the damn thing a month or so ago.
I think I will have to make it a part a the deal for fixin it for him.
You know who you are......
( He will read this thread eventually I would assume)....

put the front back on the bike and connect the electrical and you should be good to go - or do the bypass method as earlier suggested.
A question related to this - how do you bypass a 2006+ Suzuki tip sensor?

Easiest way if you cant figure out the proper way to bypass it with the wiring, is to open the box and fill it with something preventing the slide inside from moving....Silicone, or expanding foam works best, but Ive seen everythig from wadded up paper to zipties used.....
my F3 had the same thing happen to it

What are you saying? Purely co-incidence, I am sure. After all, I'm sure Jason knows lots of people who ride F4is, and who also dropped their bike hard recently.
Jason did a bang up job getting the bike in one piece... No, wait... I did the bang up part. He just got it back in one piece.
Four wheels is two wheels too many.
If there's bangin' goin on...
....I hope I'm involved...
......I think....
Maybe not......
Wrong bangin...wrong forum...
