    2008 resolution ... takin' flight

    hi.
    i'm gonna (finally) learn how to do what y'all do.
    must satiate this mid-life crisis!

    now. where to learn? i'm in toronto/northyork area.

    am going to the motorcycle show in december to see if i can buy a helmet.

    Welcome!

    You should be able to find some rider training information at the December show as well. The M1 exit course offered at most colleges is worth its weight in gold, and you don't even need to own a bike for it!

    si far i see RTI, and Humber COllege offering such courses. I'm hoping to get M1 and M2 by end of next summer ... then full M in 2010.

    I believe all the colleges are about the same, so is just a matter of finding a college closest to your house.
    One tip on the helmet, dont buy a crazy expensive and coloured one unless you are 100% sure which exact bike you're gonna pick up.
    I highly suggest buying either plain black or silver and nothing over $250. As long as its DOT or Snell approved your good.

    welcome to the board! RTI has a location is the North York area... check out their booth at the Dec. show...
