Does a zx6r rim fit on a 9r?

I have a 1994 Zx9r and was wondering if a 2001 Zx6r rim would fit on the bike. Both rims are the same width, I am just not sure about the axle and the other things.

Rear rim has a different part number but the bearings are the same size....

Didnt think a 9 used a 5.5" wide rim thou?

I will have to measure my rim. Both bikes use a 180 tire.

I think the reason they are a different part number may also be that the spoke design is a bit different.

No your right it does take a 180 so it must be a 5.5", I wasnt doubting you just didnt know the 9's used a 180/5.5

Thanks Johnny, I was not sure either what the rim sizes are for all the bikes, so I appreciate the help. I was just thinking of picking up a spare rear rim, as I can get one really cheap (Thats in good condition)
