For a short blast on a bike, take the road to Killbear Prov Park from Hwy 69 ....always a good run but beware of the blind turns and animals which may run out on you..........
I've been up to Killbear every summer for the last 15 years. I used to look forward to that road in my car even before I rode. Finally started riding this year and I had a blast up there.
The road inside the park is pretty nice, ~7km of freshly paved technical stuff. I would take it easy in there though, there's gravel in a couple of the corners, the park rangers have been cracking down on people speeding though there and despite never having seen a single deer on 559 on the way into the park I have seen dozens inside the park itself.
