Just got her into Canada today
I am taking it to GP bikes first thing tommorow beucase there is an outstanding recall, and it needs to be done before i can get it registered. I might not get to ride her this year if they have to order the parts

Very nice. Any problems bringing into Canada or was it pretty easy?

    thanks

This was my 5th or 6th time i personallly imported somthing (car or bike), and i think i ahve gone at lteast that many times for friends.
This was the EASIEST yet. I think customs must be getting fed up with how many cars/bikes are being exported. nobody even came to look at the bike to verify what i was importing lol

I have to agree with you, its a fantastic looking bike...and yes, much more comfortable. Maybe when i have some cash Ill pick one up for the track. Im pretty much healed up, rode all morning. If all goes well, I might do the deal tomorrow, so we'll definitely go for a ride before snow and salt kill it.

You think the 916/748 is more comfy for you than the 999/749? Really?

Was thinking about the 749s for next season, partly because the ergo's were supposedly more user friendly than the older 996/916.

    Re: My new bike

your sitting in the same aggresive position, but the seat on the 916 has a nicer curve to it. the 749 was a flat piece of rubber.
Not that the 749 was bad for a sportbike. I found the 749 nicer that my friends ZX6R. If you add some risers to the 916 it would put you in a nicer postion for long rides
The 749 was a biposto, not sure what the seat is like on the 749s
