I think this time of year you'll have to go south for the colours. What about Letchworth State Park in upstate New York?

Hello everyone,
Some of you may already know that I am getting married next August. The short of this story is that the videographer wants us to start shooting for the video from now. He wants to shoot the intro but asked me if I have any places in mind. I want something that will show a lot of fall colours and a 'rough/mountinous' (sp) terrain. He also wants to work the bike into the video...
Any suggestions???? Please be as specific as possible.
Thanks,
Pharaoh

we were looking for something here in Ontario...hopefully in the GTA!
anyone else????
Your best bet would be to pick the warmest remaining day this year, call in sick and find some good lookouts on the Bruce Trail with some waterfalls in the Hamilton area.
You can also go to the Centennial Park Greenhouse, but that has been photographed to death on wedding days already, so maybe not...
What about Mount Nemo or Rattlesnake?

butterfly conservatory in waterloo ?
theres apparently like 7 waterfalls around simcoe county.......
niagara escarpment in grimsby or queenston (Niagara Falls) or hike in the gorge in the falls. its also near the gardens

You could try Balls Falls or Decew Falls in Niagara. They're both favourites of photoraphers.
I don't know much about video, since I am a photographer. However,I did 3 of my last engagement photoshoots at the Toronto Island. It's a beautiful place. You can't cover it a day!
You get trees,open water,bridges,rocks,etc.
