    Front end shudder

Today in a parking lot I had to do a panic stop because someone was comming around the corner too fast. I was going at the most 20 km/h. I grabbed the front brake hard and shouddered pretty hard. It didn't lock up it was just really jumpy. Sorry its not a real good description of it. The bike is a 03 ZZR 250 with about 6000kms on it. I just checked the tire pressure on sunday so what else could it be? This isn't normal is it? Thank you.

It was raining yesterday. If you brake hard in the rain it may studder a bit at low speeds.

It's a characteristic of the bike. This bike has a lot of funny characteristics which is quite normal. Hard braking does cause the front end to shudder. Same thing with mine. Even in dry warm weather with the tires warmed up; hard braking does shudder the front end a bit.

do a hard stop at around 100 and see if it shudders, if so then see if you have a warped rotor
