How Much Oil?

99 gixer 750. i know i could go by the window, but i don have a manual and wondered if anyone knew exactly how much oil the bike is suppose to take?

sorry 1 more thing. i know what would happen if there wasnt enuff oil, but what actually happens if you overfill?

2800ml with filter

too much oil causes crankcase pressures to go up which robs horsepower
it could cause seals to leak when the pressure rises as air compresses, oil does not

Check the engine case too, it might be stamped on it near the oil level sight window.

guess my 3 litre guess should be ok. used a oen filter.

anyone know outta curioisty what would happen if someone did over-fill be alot?/ THNX
