take the U.S. way around Ontario ... probably safer, in that you can keep your bike if your caught speeding!

Hello I just saw this forum and decided to join, well, I'm not anywhere near the GTA but would like to hook up with riders anytime I go there. Probably not this season though, it's almost over, but certainly early next year. If you happen to drive to Mtl, give me a shout!
I'd like to exchange notes on bike insurance costs, plate costs, road conditions, police behaviour towards riders (new law in Ontario now, will have to check my speed!), dealers, quality of their service, organized rides and anything else related to our passion! and also compare notes on stuff that might be different from one province to another... I'll keep this in mind when I ride across Canada next year.
Cheers!

Hi, Thanks!
Yeah, everybody tells me to go around ON via the US roads, it's shorter and road laws are less strict (is this a fact?). I feel better riding at home though, without crossing the border...
Or I'll just take 3 days to cross ON at regular speed...(!)
Food for thought...
Welcome!
Was it you?

wow I didn't know there was a rider people call ghostrider!
I guess he is not going to stop at 150Km/h eh...
Is there any place in ON where limit is 120? Here in QC it's 100 all over the province... blah... better take it to the tracks then...
Cheers!
