Got hit from Behind in my Cage!!!

So I was driving to work on Derry/Airport Rd and got hit from Behind. Luckily I was in my Cage. There was an ambulance approaching me coming my way (head on), then I stopped in order for him to pass and its the best thing to do. Then BAMMMMM!! Some cager in his Civic slammed directly into me. I didnt even had time to react. He claim that his tire was slippery.

This is the 2nd time someone hit me from behind. Jeeze cant ppl stop tailing me for chrissakes??

Its a good thing I am ok, his car sustained more damages than mine. But I am really ******.

Ps. good tires are a really cheap form of insurance, just to let u know.

I've got runned into before in both my car and my bike. The excuses the drivers give are just plain stupid. I had one time a guy following real close for a good 5 km's of road when I had to make a quick stop. He reared me. I asked him the reason for following too close and he said, "It gets me places faster." I was like "WTF!!!??" We're all going the same speed; in fact, when I see tailgaters, I slow down!!

Actually, some people don't have the concept of following others. I've heard others make the same excuse "It's faster to tailgate."

Anyone who thinks that way should burn in hell...

And face a $10000 fine, impoundment and a licence suspension because they were stunting!!!!

Yeh I should have told the officer thats a form of stunting, braking w/ the front wheel spinning.

Not to me. I have to assess it tho, since his insurance will be paying for it. I think my rebars will be damaged and things that kept the damges from appearing will have to be fixed. His car crapped up, he had to tow the car home.

Soooo... got new rubber on the bike yet? Or is it tucked away for the season?

U got me there Dave, u got me big time.

Not yet, in fact everytime I go to work and come back its already dark. No zeal to ride when its already night. Plus its chilly. Riding at 10C at nite is not that fun.
