And before you laugh at some of the items, I ended up using 90% of them. yes, even the string/rope came in handy when a bolt from the chain guard vibrated off, and the chain guard was being eaten by the chain! And the Glysomed is for your super dry hands after cruising for a whole day in perforated gloves. All sleeping stuff is in the orange sack at the bottom (tent, sleeping bag and blue thing to lay on) And bring a good flashlight that straps to your head, I destroyed my flashlight on the first night by holding it in my mouth, and my saliva killed it somehow, had to buy a new one. This is all my stuff for 10 days, less riding gear.
I have always loved the look of a bike packed and loaded for a trip. How are you liking the 599? I have an 02 919. Not sure how you find your stock seat, but I hated the stock 919 seat so I upgraded to a Corbin. Best money you can spend on your bike if you tour on it.
