I'm hoping someone can help me out. I need to adjust the slack on my chain. No I don't have a service manual, just wondering how easy it might be to do myself. Step by step instructions would be great, it's a 2002 ex500.
I posted the ex500 service manual in one of the stickies somewhere about service manuals. It's for the first gen bikes, but the only difference in chain/sprockets is one tooth off the back I believe. All the tensioning is the same.
Seeing as I am a first year rider & have just did my first Chain & Sprocket change, I thought this link might be of interest to some, it provides some useful info on chains.
