Vmax goes 200mph

By reaching 200mph naked, we became the first naturally
aspirated bike to do this at Maxton and also became 1 of only 6
people to ever reach 200mph on a naked bike at Maxton (the
other 5 were on Turbo Hayabusas). Scott also told me there is
less then 2 dozen people in the world to have ever reach
200mph on a naked bike, and research has found ONLY 4
people in the world that have gone over 200mph on a naked
motorcycle, with just "all motor" (naturally aspirated) They are:

Tom Elrod, 1979, Kawasaki, Bonneville 200.022 MPH
Rich Yacoucci, 2001, Suzuki, El Mirage, 203.799 MPH
Mark Deluca, 2003, Forstall Suzuki, Bonneville, 203.401 MPH
Bill Warner, 2007, Yamaha V-Max, Maxton 200.06 MPH

thats insane. but try going 170 on a stock one without it speed wobbling on you.

well they actually top out at 150 stock....and its hell on windy and wobbly!

By the way that was 200MPH not KPH.....freaking insane....no turbo no fairing......real man ****.. what a hoot

They never claimed the bikes engine was stock.

i didnt see ghostrider on that list...he has damn sure gone over 200 on a naked bike...he has a turbo busa

He must have super glued hims self to the Max.. at 230KPH the wind shear is pealin me off.. Gotta love the Max

far from it....but its a common mod..1500cc
this one is injected though and has the R1 front end(another common VMAX mod)

Brute power to 200....so cool in the techno aero world to see someone do it the hard way...
