If you have gas leaking from a carb, you have a dirty 0r sticking needle & seat. Your carbs will have to be removed and cleaned. A fuel stabalizer would have saved you the problem.

I just started my Honda CBRF after a year off. It took a couple of tries but did eventually start, but gas began to leak from what I think is the carburator (right under the gas tank)
Has anyone also experienced this as well? I'm hoping that it is something related to sitting for such a long time and that it'll eventually go away.
Or would you think the only way to fix it is to bring it in to a shop.

potentially you may be able to get away with running a tank of fuel through with sea-foam
I've done this with several bikes sucessfully and save a ton of work

The float is stuck open, it's supposed to be going out the overflow tube under the bike but you may not have one. Tap it a few times good with the handle of a screwdriver, if it stays stuck, pull the bottom off the carb to see how much gunk is in it. May be able to do this without removing it.
Sound like a stuck needle. Would take apart and clean nicely! Taping with screwdriver or dropping bike up and down is not a proper solution.
anyone can hurt a fighter not everyone will get a chance to excuse
thanks all for your replies. Definitely very helpful. I tried tapping it lightly with the end of a screwdriver, but it still started to leaking a little when trying to start it. the good thing is, i know the location that is leaking. I'm going to try to open it up without having to take off the tank. wish me luck!
