Who has the best selection of metric bolts???

    Hey everyone,

So I visited Home Depot, Parts Source, Rona, and Brafasco....

I need a FINE THREAD 10MM bolt that is 110MM long.....

No one has anything... Brafasco doesn't have it in fine thread, home depot doesn't have it that long (only goes up to 70mm there)....

    So,

does anyone know where I can find this size bolt??? I went down and my frame saver bolt bent. I could just reinstall it but the structural integrity is compromised... Don't want to risk it.

This is getting a bit ridiculous why does no one carry this kind of stuff?

    appreciate it!

You'd be surprised, but Canadian Tire carries metric bolts.

Try Fastenal, they are all over the place...or Spanaur in Kitchener.

You may have to order it online.
I had the same trouble with M12 fine thread for my bike, ordered them online and just waited a few days.

There is a place in London called facca fastners. They seem to have every bolt/screw/nut ever made

If they have it, I don't mind picking it up and shipping it to you.

Or Maybe it will give me a reason to go for a ride and meet u half way in Kitchener.

Someone on here posted that Lowes has a great selection of bolts. Never tried them myself.

Just ordered from fastenal on Steeles.

They have to order them but Im going on vacation this week anyways so no problem there.

    Thanks everyone for the advice!

And Rib, I appreciate you trying to help. It won't be needed this time around but it's good to know there are still good people on this forum.

    THANKS!

McMaster Carr has everything, but they're American and their shipping is super expensive. Also you have to buy in bulk.

Just to let you know, fastenal requires a $10 minimum purchase.

I personally go to Canadian Tire, most stores have a large assortment of metric and imperial bolts/nuts.

Why not just go to the dealer and order it there? Can't be more than a couple bucks.

....or contact the frame saver company and ask if they would sell you a bolt.

I agree. I needed a metric stainless bolt for my fender recently. I found an American on-line source for under a dollar. However, the shipping was $12.00 I ended up buying it at a local Suzuki dealer for $4.50, and they had it in stock.
