So I was checking my facebook and saw that RTI is selling their Hyosung GT250 for $1500 each, as is, with all parts not safety.

When I was at the RTI they had them pushed off in the corner and they looked pretty rough.

I like the look of the Comets...however reading enough about them over the last few months to stay away from them for the time being (not many options for street fighter 250s in NA).
But I guess if someone is looking for a project bike then this may be a good idea for them.

I started on that bike when I took the course at RTI 3 years ago... it was yellow, and i HATED it... felt really top heavy and sluggish. Also, the rear brake was seized, so I switched to the Yamaha TW.
Good times, that course was.
I rode one of those yellow comets a couple weeks ago at their course... thing had been dropped a million times and wouldn't shift into neutral

Older than 2008 or so Hyosungs are to be avoided at all costs. Especially if they were used for rider training.
I have a bit of nostalgia for the bikes I rode in Korea and considered picking one of these up. But it's simply not worth it.
