    Yamaha XS 750 Special '78

Hi everyone, I have a 1978 Yamaha xs 750 special, that I'm looking to get some work done on.
Such as the electric starter looked at, spring tune up, the carbs adjusted, new headlight, spot weld on the exhaust. Nothing too major.

So I'm wondering if anyone could recommend a mechanic/shop who specializes in older bikes.

I live in the east end of Toronto around the beaches.

    Thanks very much

I have a 1979 Special. Let me know if I can point you to any online resources or pick my brains on what I've gone through and fixed myself.
Dood, interesting bike. Did you customize it yourself, or was it all f**ked up when you bought it?

    1) Glen @ fsmotorcycle.com is not that far from you. He's a great parts supplier, wise sage full of advice, and all around great dude.

    2) cyclewerx around Dundas & Bloor works on old bikes. While you're in the area, head on over to the black dice cafe for a brew, run by a guy with a bike older than yours.

    3) rosey toes as suggested

    4) dotheton.com for lots of folks familiar with that bike in case you wanna do the work yourself.
