Master Link question D.I.D 525 V8

Hey guys, I am looking to get a new master link for my chain but I am not sure which one I need. The chain is stamped as a D.I.D 525 V8. I went to a shop to order one and they required more specific information on the chain. The reason I want to replace the existing master link is that one of the rivets looks like it is starting to pull through.

Is this an OEM chain that came on the bike? Or an aftermarket DID chain that was added

I am pretty sure you just need a 525 V series link...

I dont know why the shop would ask you for more info the chain is a DID 525 V8...

Im sure you could use an X but Id try to match what you have and I believe yours is an O

i just called "brewer cycles" local honda parts dealer here in nc and asked for a 525 o-ring master link....they had it in stock $9.95...

Reg DID X will work fine and any shop should have them

A VM series master link should work quite well....but I would double check....

Is this what your chain / packaging looks like?
