I've always had great success when those three rules were followed.

I agree completely.. Those are the exact same rules I follow...never had any issues...

My god, I'm so glad I don't have to hear that "clunk" anymore. Especially on my expensive Arai RX-Q!

I ended up taking one of those ZAGG shield's for a phone and sticking it along the back of the helmet.. no more nicks! PHEW!

Number one rule I have when I take a passenger on my bike. Don't let your helmet hit my helmet or I'll punch you in the face.

don't be a road crayon, wear your gear, the road doesn't care how "cool" you think you look when it's busy cheese grading your skin.

    Well, the rule #4:
    Don't dance while riding !!!

I disagree about helmet - if she bangs your helmet to often it means that you're riding just terrible (city streets are not a track). 2up - is a very good way to practice to be smooth and gentle isn't that's what she wants from you?

My issue is that I keep sliding forward, closer and closer to the front.. not bad for me being so close to the man in front, but not so good for him, being squished.. so, it's shimmying back a bit at each stop light or sign.. gently of course....
