Any tips on how to remove a tank protector from my bike?

Apply some heat using a heat gun or hair dryer, it's easier if you wait until you are low on fuel, a full tank will prevent sufficient heat to build and will make removal a real pain. Once removed, use goo gone to clean up the remaining gluey mess.
I removed a tank protector from mine, and I can't get all the sticky crap off. I've tried goo gone and gas to avail.
Royal Distributing sells a small bottle of decal remover that really works. I tried Goo Gone and others that did nothing.
Pull on it?
Seriously, heat helps. You can just leave it in the sun for a few hours if that's easier.
WD40 to remove glue residue.
I get small packets of Adhesive Remover from work (similar to an alcohol wipe packet), but I'm not exactly sure where you can buy them in retail. Perhaps you can try a medical supply store as the packets we have are used to remove bandage adhesive. I've never come across an adhesive that these wipes weren't able to remove.
I was not kidding about Dremel - i had nasty cheap tank protector on one of my bikes. It would not come off so i grinded off very careful and removed what left with wd40

Crap that bites, I always go to this website for my protectors www.rascalgrafik.com . They were the only place I found with a few days of net searching with an all white protector, they make other goodies too.
