What I learned from this thread:
Pay for race school to learn to manage adrenaline.
Get a litre sport bike.

I once Knew a guy that ran from the police all the time, hell he even would taunt the police by doing wheelies in front of the station.
He would ride through catwalks and through paths etc. anything to get away.
On the highway he would speed up past speed traps to give them less of a chance to read his plate. If he knew they got his plate number he would just stop and accept his ticket.
I don't think he ever worried about radios and helicopters, or if it was daytime or night.
I suppose he was lucky, he never hurt anybody or got hurt himself.
Mind you this was more than 20 years ago and things have changed, time does strange things to people.
I doubt he would try any of his antics these days, maybe he lost his set? I dunno.
Probably just grown up and has more to live for....
Luck always runs out eventually

Back to my OP question. Does anyone know if the guys who had their bikes taken away on a flat bed have lost their bikes for good or can they get them back?
If they were charged with HTA 172, they get their bikes impounded for a week.
