once again I need the collective advices of u folks....i need to get a corner/computer desk for a master bedroom, can't be too deep, real estate is tight. A corner desk with using good materials, particle wood is the least favored! Price range $200-$300. I checked out staples and mehh....and ikea are the masters of particle wood. The selection of tempered glass and metal desks are limited in both stores. Any other stores to look at around the Greater Toronto Area??
ALso, it would be a bonus if it matches with an apple computer...so i'm leaning more towards a tempered glass and metal desk....
I have two young boys but they are smart cookies, but just in case are these tempered glass strong??
Tempered glass is strong but if you hit the edge the right way it disappears in a pop of glass / gravel. Particle board is good if it's properly engineered but it's almost impossible to make it strong and fast / easy to assemble at the same time.
