Hey I've got the same bike, are you looking for a slip-on or full system? Also, what's your aprox. budget? You've got plenty of options, again depending on how much you'd like to spend.

Stock. Unless you're interested in running up against the various noise bylaws popping up all around us. Keep the modified exhaust for the track. Besides, exhaust alone with nothing done to improve the overall tune, is just a waste of money.

Most aftermarket exhausts easily pass noise bylaws.

And just because you dont think its worth buying doesnt make it a waste of money for those of us who like the look and sound of aftermarket pipes.

I sugget roaming thru youtube and listen to the sound clips.

You left way to many variables open for someone to point you in a certain direction.

Are you looking for a slip-on or full exhaust?
What type of sound are you after?
Extremly loud or a little louder then stock?
Throaty and deep or a screamer?
How much are you looking to spend?

just so you know...if you increase the exhaust you must increase the intake,,,air and fuel or you will affect the performance. you could run hotter and burn out the exhaust valves over time.

I had M4 full ti on my R6. Very nice exhaust indeed !
Although depending on the application, if not going with a full system + the necessary electronics the stock will always work the best. Slip-on's can get by without the need for tuning, but still not as correct as your stick setup.

The ONLY exhaust I would run if I had your bike... http://www.biohazardcycles.com/servl...EXHAUST/Detail

Sounds even better than it looks! Nice deep idle, really screams when you spank her!

    And for tuning/fuel management:

    and This: http://www.bluestreakracing.ca/en/ma...fm-127062.html

You need any help with the install of the above (exhaust and/or Bazzaz) just lemme kno.

You clearly don't know how much of a gain this bike gets with a full exhaust and an appropriate fuel map.

    Only a 12 % hp gain:

There is a big difference between a good quality full system and crappy one

    2003 GSXR 600 stock

Same bike with Akrapovic EVO full system and no tuning at all

Straightened the line right up, and added 8 HP from 94-102

I was lucky when I bought my 09 ZX6R that Kawi had a promotion and I got an Akrapovic EVO system for free..Love it! Really wakes the bike up

Wow, can't believe how much it cleaned up the power delivery!!!

I'm hoping after I drive around a bunch with my autotune I got today that it'll sort mine out somewhat

The M4 shortie is okay, only worthwhile if you're getting the full system...Have you established a budget? Akra is a great choice, but there are a few others out there as well...checking out some YouTube videos is a great idea to get some ideas on what the sound each exhaust produces...
