Hello GTA..

Hi i'm London & new to the forum. Recently got my M1 and doing the ride safety course in a couple of weeks. Looking @ getting a ninja 250 to start. Anyone with experience on that bike? Wanted some more info from local riders on it b4 i actually get it.

Hey, welcome to the community. I ride a '09 ninja 250, it's an excellent starter bike, I'm on my second season with it. I'm sure you heard its great on gas and cheap on insurance, blah blah blah...it's all true . It's easy to handle especially if it's your first time riding. See you around!

Thanks for the welcome people. Yeah I've heard all the great things, but my major question is; will i be able to go on the 400 series hwy if needed? As i will be commuting to work & back for the most part.

Welcome!! good luck on the course. as for the 250, great starter bike, but you will want to upgrade very quickly. again, good luck, and ride safe!!

I've had mine up to 160kph. It's more than fine to keep up with traffic.
