The young CDN. Brett McCormick, 2011 CDN. superbike champion, fell today on his Ducati in the rain and broke his 5th & 6th vertabrea. No neurolgical damage.
It was a rain soaked weekend in Assen with many top level riders falling.
Canada is behind you Brett. Get well soon.
Simoncelli apparently was asked if he was afraid of dying in a racing accident & he responded: "NO. You live more for 5 minutes going fast on a bike like that than other people do in all of their life."
