What 250? Ninja 250? CBR 250? A cruiser?

Hey guys!
Well the nice and warm weather is SLOWLY making its way to Toronto and I'm seeing more and more riders!
I'm loving the new 2011 CBR250R and am using it almost daily (weather permitting), however I do not like the look of the back end at all...
Does anyone have a recommendation for a fender eliminator kit? Any recommendations on where to get it? And how difficult is this thing to install? Can original lights/turn signals be used?

This motorcycle is simply too goddamn fast to ride at speed in any kind of normal road traffic unless you're ready to go straight down the centerline with your nuts on fire and a silent scream in your throat.
I bought an aftermarket integrated tail light. Strategically cut off the fender (did not remove it as part of it looked nice on my under-tail exhaust). I then manufactured a custom bracket which holds the license plate under my rear seat. Problem solved!
But if your not mechanically inclined...just purchase a fender eliminating kit online. There's tonnes out for all sorts of bikes.

I just called to get a safety done at cycleworld superstore and they said flushmounts and integrated tail lights don't pass safety- is this true?
Typically. For a proper safety, the original equipment all has to be there and it all has to work, PROPER (compliant with applicable standards) substitutes are permissible. A lot of flush-mount signals and integrated tail lights and fender eliminators have compliance issues:
- No red rear-facing and side-facing reflectors (required by CMVSS 108 )
- Turn signals not DOT marked, not bright enough, and too close together (minimum separation distance 9" / 220mm per CMVSS 108 )
- No license plate illumination (CMVSS 108 )
- No valid DOT marking (because it doesn't comply with the standards - illegally applied DOT marking doesn't count)
- No mud guard (required by HTA and MVSA)
- Incorrect turn signal flashing rate (CMVSS 108 )
