KTM Demo ride day, May 4th

Well, there is word out there that there will be a KTM demo day held at Gopher Dunes on May 4th.
There will be motocross and trail bikes, 2 strokes, 4 strokes.
Not only is this a great chance to try out some sweet bikes, but it could be an opportunity for some of those still on the fence about riding dirt.

The track is deep sand and gets really rough, so don't be discouraged as a new rider or a rider that is new to sand. Just keep the front wheel light and the throttle open and it's a blast!
The trails should be open and they are a blast to whip through.

I'm not sure who to get in to contact with, I'm pretty sure you can go through lockhart's oddesy in courtland to book your spot, and maybe a few other KTM dealers

Dates and locations are now available for KTM's RIDE ORANGE Moto Tour 2012. Sadly there's no east coast love but folks in BC, AB, ON and QC are in luck.

KTM’s RIDE ORANGE Moto Tour is back for 2012, with 10 events across 4 provinces. The first demo ride takes place on April 15 in British Columbia and the tour wraps on May 19 in Quebec.
NEW! Riders now have option of test riding motocross AND off-road bikes!

What you can expect at every Moto Tour stop:

- A total of 12 to 15 new motocross & off-road models
- Supported with Factory Racing KTM 18-wheeler
- Professional mechanic support
- KTM and dealer staff on hand for any assistance needed
- Special guest appearances by Factory KTM racers (select events)

Ah, sorry I gave the wrong date, this was just from memory.

If you manage to damage a bike at gopher dunes on the track, then you were likely really haulin the mail... I've crashed there many times and don't think I've ever damaged the bike doing so there... Now a tree in the trails could be a different story.

And I think I might possibly know a pro or two that is expected to be there, but I won't say anything since I can't guarantee my word.

I put my name in for this yesterday. I just emailed chad@apexcycle.ca and he responded saying that my name is on the list and he will be sending out registration forms soon. I'm pumped for this, I so hope they have a xc300 there to test ride. For you guys out near Whitby, should probably contact someone at GP bikes to sign up for this. I originally talked to Dave at Parker Brothers, but he is no longer in the bike selling business and isn't a represnted dealer unfortunately.

I took an EXC-F 350 out last week for some street trail stuff.One heck of a trail bike for sure.Street bike,not so great.
