    Dual sport or off road

Thinking of selling my Hypermotard and getting back into the dirt.I have a pickup,so transport is not a problem.I haven't ridden dirt in years and would like to get back to it and get into shape at the same time.A KTM is not out of reach.I don't want a Honda compromise XL type tho.I might even go for a trials bike again if i find the right one.Lol.
    Any input?

Agreed on KTM, I have had 2 450 EXC's and just picked up a 530EXC. Bascially a dirt bike that they slapped a light and some blinkers on. Having a blue plate really opens up additional riding areas.

Depends on budget, how much power and how light you want to go! You can get some XR650R's blue plated, they stomp 650L's... KTM machines are real nice, I have only owned Honda so I cant comment on maintenance of them however. Or get a GasGas trials bike!

Just get a trailer with a dirt bike.....the V-Max is optional.

Apex let take an EXC-F 350 out for the afternoon. Not much fun on the streets between the woods, but a ton of fun in the woods. It's been since 1985 that i last rode a dual-sport.WOW things have changed! I'm not sold tho.I still find myself wanting to jump rocks and logs with a trialer when i am deep in the woods. Thanks Tony at Apex.
