Don't know if this was posted before.. but now that the riding season is picking up again beware of this situation.
It looks like at 12 seconds the car COULD have seen the biker, but didn't and proceeded. Thankfully the person in the car didn't go too far.. phew..

Can't we settle this over a pint?
I've had my fair share of close calls, but nothing quite like this...

In the first month I got my first bike, a UPS truck did this to me downtown just like in the video. To this day I have no idea how he didn't clip my rear tire.
With less than six months' riding experience, on my first bike -- a 600 cc, 110 BHP crotch rocket -- I rode 21,569 km around North America solo in 2011: ridermike.blogspot.com
Don't let anyone tell you it can't be done, because I am living proof otherwise.

I always love the hand signals from cagers when they act like the rider is the idiot for being on a bike.
Had a really good middle finger salute on the 401 last week when she decided she wanted my lane and I was beside her door when she changed lanes while forgetting to signal or shoulder check apparently.
Good Call !!
Poor lane position by the rider kept him hidden from view much longer than if he had been in the left track. Nothing like sneaking along hiding yourself behind/along a row of parked cars and then blaming the car driver when they don't see you.
