    The NEW Dude

    Hey all,
    I've been on here for a couple of weeks but thought I'd offically make a "NEW DUDE" post in here.

    I'm from Mississauga getting started with riding.
    I just got my M1 this past weekend and signed up at Humber for the training class for the first weekend in MAY.

    Picked up a Helmet and gloves from Royal Distributing (Joe Rocket RKT-1000 plain, flat black helmet)
    Picked up some boots from GP Bikes.

    All set to go! Just need a bike and hopefully that will be coming soon too.

    Can't wait to get started, making new friends here and learning some tips and tricks as I go along!

    I just made a thread about State Farm insurance under the insurance section. I was just told by an agent that they only provide HIGH RISK rates to people who don't have car insurance with them.
    So crappy!

    LOL i hope not :P, what bike are you lookin at getting?? i was thinking of a ninja 650r or a sv650 but when i see insurance rates for a beginner on those bikes i want to hang my self :S .so im stuck with a ninja 500 or lower which is still high in insurance..

    Oh yeah the 650 is killer on the insurance. I'm gonna start off with a 250. It's fits the pocket a bit better and insurance is half of that of a 650. Plus I hear it's a good bike to start learning on. Just hope I can find a good deal on one soon.
