The bike is year 2000 pretty fast and fun. 1 problem though its a little to high for me, like 5 cm from fitting me comfortably. Is it possible to lower it?

Yes you can usually find what are called "lowering links" for your bike to let you lower the bike I think up to 3".. do a search on google and choose a site you are comfortable with and order them. There are a ton of shops that can instal it for you, again just do a google search.

My only advice about your bike is take it slow. Practice throttle control, braking (regular and emergency), and clutch control. Find a nice empty parking lot and do it up.

    Good luck...

Tell me about it, the power is incredible. Throttle got balls! When you say regular and emergency, do you mean the leg as regular and hand as emergency?

    Re: Hi to all

Hi! by stopping regularly he means coming to a comfortable stop using both front and rear brake, and by emergency stopping he means using the maximum amount of traction the front and rear tires have on the ground. You are supposed to use both front and rear brakes all the time to take advantage of all your stopping power regardless of it being in an emergency situation or not. Hope it helps remember, go easy on the front so you dont end up doing an endo :P Also get a feeling as to what extent it takes for your rear wheel to start slipping... its key that you know when to get your foot off the pedal... Good luck

welcome!! congrats on the bike. if you take it easy for a bit, you wont need to lower the bike. as long as you can touch the ground, you will adapt to it. it becomes second nature. if you lower the bike too much, you might hinder the full range of its handling. either way, take your time and have fun. there's lots of roads and km's to enjoy. ride safe!!
