    Trails near cottages

I'm looking to rent a cottage in August, anyone know if there are any cottage areas like Muskoka etc. with decent trails around them?

Well, Turkey Point USED to be awesome until the mountain bikers and out of towners moved in.

There's a huge area in Muskoka full of forest access roads, logging roads, snowmobile trails, and tight single track. Roughly bounded by; Hwy118 to the south, Hwy117 to the north, Hwy35 to the east, and Hwy11 to the west. Best access points are on 118 and 117.

Check out Kushog Korners is Haliburton, it is right across for Pine springs rd, there is tons of trails, and access to the above mentioned trails.

Have you ever ridden Pine springs road? I started out on it once and it seemed like it went forever. Ended up turning back as I was low on gas. Do you know where it comes out ? I started on the Hwy 35 end.
