    CT Window Tint

Heyo. Anyone have any experience in applying some of the Canadian Tire window tint on their bikes windscreen? Looking to apply it on my spare 250R screen. I noticed what they have in store the other day, thought it might be a cheap and easy alternative to pro tint job. Just wanted to know if anyone has used it before, or has any thoughts on it. If you know any value friendly shops to get a tint done as well, that would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Dont.

Just go buy a tinted windscreen instead.

It will end up peeling off half way thru the season, and leaving a mess behind.

I've seen some nice results with spray paint (mind it it wasn't see threw)...
I'd recommend what infernobuster suggested, besides windscreens are super cheap on ebay.

Spray paint from the inside ... the outside will look perfect

If you're going to paint it, you'll want to paint the INSIDE so that it doesn't get sand blasted by road grime (and look like $h!t in no time).

Spray the inside, I like that idea. Not so concerned about being able to see threw it, my line of sight is easily above the screen even when tucked. Might be nice to add some colour, too.

Went with a dark blue spray on the inside of the screen, just for kicks. Applying the last coat, it's looking pretty sharp.

Spray on tiny is the way to go. The more coats the darker the results. I tint windows for a living and window film isn't meant for lexans or plastics as these materials emit gases which will release the adhesives bond from the windscreen itself.

I paid $23 all in for a new tinted windscreen from Auctmarts on ebay, it's a nice black tint, not purple when you look through it like most of the cheapies. Fit perfect, looks awesome

VHT Niteshades? I've used this stuff to smoke out the rear lights on my old car and seems like it would be ideal for a tinted windscreen, though I haven't tried. They come in spray cans and avail at CT.
