Welcome to the site! There are a few of us who ride dual-sports in your area... myself, Bit, Eduardo. Keep your eye on the forums for organized trips to Ganny/SCF/Newtonville - you are always more than welcome to a spot on our trailers whenever we head out! We usually meet in Yorkdale parking lot and head out from there.

There isn't much on a DR200 that requires a mechanic, if you have basic tools and a manual. Many manuals are available for free download if you search.

It is a learning experience, but these bikes are pretty simple (I have a DR650, same idea).
