I personally don't get it. Been a few times, nothing to do really and line ups galore. Dover is much better on any other nice day when you can actually do something there without waiting hours to get in or do something.
2008 Triumph Bonneville T100
2009 Harley Ultra Classic
2011 Triumph Sprint GT
I dont get it exactly either, except I do like looking at bikes, all sorts. This is a venue that draws everything out from sport, adventure, cruisers, etc.
I have not been to one yet in 15 years of riding, but hope to eventually. Was not paying attention to the date or I would have gone to this one. Nice spring weather makes for a small little ride.
I went this morning for my first time. It's a huge show-n-shine. Thousands of cool bikes, plenty of babes, constant rumble of the engines and exhaust fumes permeate the air. It has a festive atmosphere.
It's great if you just like looking at Harley's but if you spend some time you get to see some real treasures as well. Saw an old 4-inline Nimbus, several Ural's, Old triumph's, trikes, bobbers, cafe racers. And everything was driven there, no trailer queens.
I will go again for sure.
I just got back.
I think it was as busy as I have ever seen it this year. Saw 2 people drop their bikes trying to ride thru all the people. One had a custom airbrush job on it..
Ugly naked guy was there once again!
I made the trip up to Dover today. There isn't a whole lot to do up there. I wasn't expecting great vendors or anything though. Just enjoyed walking around and checking out the different bikes and people. It was also the first time that I stood in line a Tim Horton's drive through for a coffee.

DoverTV.... *yawn*.....Will someone hurry and go in front of the camera and moon it?
