    Unless you own a thumper, then a little dab will do ya, and I do mean a very tiny wee bit. 1ml or less. A small water bead. A smear. Less is better.

    Why did I say that? I lost a foot peg on the KLR after hopping a log off road. I retapped, used longer bolts and red locktite.

    I never touch a faster on my thumpers without using blue locktite.
