    Amazing photos of the space shuttles being decommissioned

    Subsystems getting decommissioned / cleaned, so the shuttles can be displayed in the museums. Photo #8 shows CanadArm being removed.

    To be honest, photo #10 is not that great, the angle could be better. Can't see my autograph on the left wall.

    Been flying those things ever since I can remember. I was 5 when they flew the first one.

    Sad to see them go, but I understand why . . .

    Only 122,000 Miles. Barely broken in.

    The valves were checked and adjusted after every flight, about every 5 million miles.
